UO Istovremeno invites you to a gathering/presentation/discussion at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Extension), on Sunday, April 28 at 3:30 p.m. After socializing, we invite you to stay for the performance by Aldina Topčagić on the occasion of the International Day of Dance organized by UPUH and the Austrian Cultural Forum in the permanent lineup of MSU at 5 p.m. TijeloRIJEČI: The Trnsko project was implemented by the UO Simultaneously in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art, as part of the Culture and Art in the Community of the City of Zagreb competition. Thematically, he tried to analyze various social phenomena that are visible in the life of the neighborhood and affect it. All visuals were made by Mare Šuljak. The project was conceived by Josip Bubaš, building on the ten-year cycle of BODY RIJEČI workshops that she leads with Neva Lukić. The photographer and videographer is Tomislav Čuveljak. In addition to the MSU, the space was given to the Ministry of Trnsko, thanks to Radovan Bjeloš and our Mirjana. We opened the project with the theme URBAN AND GREEN RHYTHM, in which Kristina Perkov, assistant at Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, held a lecture on the specifics of New Zagreb urbanism, s with special emphasis on Trnsko. The lecture was held at the Ministry of Defense of Trnsko. As part of the topic, we held four workshops TijeloRIJEČI, led by Neva Lukić and Josipa Bubaš, and visited the Museum of Contemporary Art, where curator Renata Filčić took us through the exhibition emphasizing works that thematize life in a collective. In October, we dealt with the tumultuous R’N’R history of the neighborhood as part of the topic ROCK AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. In the Ministry of Defense of Trnsko, at a forum attended by the writer Đorđe Matić, producer Daniel Badanjek and neighborhood legend, excellent guitarist Tomislav Tenšek – Snoopy we woke up memories, they talked about music and in the end, thanks to Snoopy who played covers of rock classics with the help of a colleague, they enjoyed the music. The topic was enriched by the leadership of curator Leila Topić, who, speaking about the works exhibited at MSU, pointed out the inseparable connection between music and art. Two body language workshops were also held, led by Neva Lukić and Josipa Bubaš. After the winter break, in March we dealt with gloomy topics. As part of the third theme, TRANSITION, Ph.D. Ivan Burić is in the Ministry of Defense of Trnsko held a lecture on the causes and processes of transition, and Sanja Vičić, a former employee of Nama in Trnsko, spoke about the working conditions in the past and now, and the attitude towards work and the collective. The curator of the MSU, Renata Filčić, took us through the museum’s works, paying particular attention to the works created in the nineties. The workshop TijeloRIJEČI (Lukić, Bubaš) as part of this topic dealt with the differences in movement and concentration in the premises of MSU and Avenue Mall, which we visited on that occasion. FOOD, the last, spring and happy theme, hosted gastro author Željka Klemenčić who she took us through the Newlyweds Park, talking about wild plants. After the walk, she held a lecture on healthy nutrition at the Trnsko Ministry of Education. At MSU, Renata Filčić showed us the works of artists who use food as an artistic motif and medium, and the TijeloRIJEČI workshop looked a bit different this time. With the help of Ana Janjatović – Zorica, who with Josip Bubaš, d MSU held the Small Bites workshop, we learned to prepare delicious healthy meals, focusing attention on certain characteristics of food and the sense of taste.
