Immersion, Again, Osijek Summer of Culture

We can always dive in again. Not a single immersion is the same, not a single view of heritage – female, collective, family, personal – is the same. Immersion, after it was performed as a performance for the first time in 2020 at Principio in Rijeka as part of the project Women’s Lives Louder and EPK, experienced an iteration at the Queer season of the same year as a performance-exhibition situation. This time PONOVNO URANJANJE retains the elements of previous performances, but again in a new structure, with a new departure and in close collaboration with Tino Dožić and becomes a performative soundscape. Looking back, plunging, familiarizing ….. tactile, sensory, automatic, mechanical, subconscious, pulsating,; resistances and ups and downs, rejection and acceptance, all this imperceptibly creeps into everyday life. What images inhabit the body and how to decipher the codes? What to surrender to and what to let go of?
