Lecture at the professional gathering and academy - Awareness! Resist! React! Performance and politics in the post-Yugoslav context of the 90
The 1990s, as a decade of war, disintegration and crisis, had different beginnings in these areas. Linda Gusia, Asja Mandić, Bojana Piškur, Biljana Tanurovska Kjulavkovski and Rok Vevar will talk about these specifics, as well as possible interpretations of artistic practices in the context of resistance. Furthermore, Ljubica Anđelković Džambic, Josipa Bubaš, Zvonimir Dobrović, Suzana Marjanić and Darko Šimičić will present some particularities of the Croatian context and separate author’s works represented at the exhibition. In the final part, in cooperation with Studio Artless and Udruga Domino in Gorgona Hall, a ceremonial academy will be held dedicated to Željko Zorica Šiš, performer, multimedia artist, designer and writer.
